Jet Provost

T3A Jet Provost was a British jet-powered trainer aircraft used by the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 1955 to 1993. They were manufactured by the Hunting Company which later joined the BAC (British Aircraft Corporation) and were developed from the piston- engined Percival Provost basic trainer. They were made in great numbers for the RAF and many were exported to overseas countries. The T3 version was equipped with the Rolls Royce Viper 101 engine, the cabin was unpressurized, and it had small wing tip fuel tanks. This example of the T3 displayed was built by Hunting Aircraft Ltd. in England in 1959. Kindly donated by Mr. Wael Bayazıd (The American Turkish Society). L: 1000 cm W: 1090 cm Y: 240 cm
