This exhibit is the workshop of the model train maker late İsmail Atsürer. All his models were made using traditional hand tools rather than modern, powered machinery. As well as trains, Uncle Ismail later started working on model ships. He produced miniature working models of marine engines, but was unable to finish a fully-working ship model before his death at the age of 91. The workshop incorporates his pedal lathe and hand tools (mostly 19th century).
