Progress and education nourish within the effects of social and cultural environments. Because of this fact, museums aim to be involved in childrens social, emotional, mental and physical development with various activity programs.
Rahmi M. Koç Museum has been developing education packs to fulfill these objectives since 2002. In 2008 Preschool Education Workshop with the sponsorship of Faber-Castell is added to these projects.
Who can benefit from the Workshop?
- Kindergarden children, with their teachers and by appointment, can work on an object, then do relative painting, cut-paste, abd reading activities in the Workshop area, and also use the experiment sets.
- During weekends, 5-6-7-8 year old children visiting the Museum with their families, can attend drama workshop, painting and playing activities and use the experiment sets. *
- Primary school students of ages 7-8 can do the related activities of the object they worked on and use the experiment sets.
Children enjoy playing with our experiments that include magic mirrors showing the convoluted picture properly, moving pictures that are the basis of movies, magnets, tangrams and hanoi towers.

You can have your kids of age group 5-6-7-8 attend the weekend workshop activities taking place at the Faber-Castell Pre-school Workshop. The maximum number for a group is 12. The sessions last for about one hour and cost TL120 for the whole group.
