“Ankara: Capital of Education” is a book written by Associate Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Gençkaya as part of the Age of Reason Project. The book is illustrated mainly by documents and visual materials from the VEKAM Archive. The “Education in the Formation of Modern Turkey: Documents and Visual Memories II” exhibition was organized to launch the English edition of the book and featured many important documents relating to education.
